The World Health Organization recognizes the
ability of acupuncture and traditional Oriental medicine to treat
over 43 common disorders including:
Arthritis, neck and back pain, sports injuries, and sciatica
Headaches (including migraines), neuralgia, post-operative pain, stroke
residuals, facial pain, Parkinson’s, and TMJ
Allergies, sinusitis, asthma, chronic bronchitis or other Ear, nose,
throat, and lung problems
Food allergies, eating disorders, stomach hyperacidity, chronic
indigestion, constipation, or diarrhea, and the nausea and vomiting
associated with cancer therapies
Addictions to alcohol, nicotine, or drugs
Trauma, anxiety, depression, or insomnia.
Uro-genital Disorders, including stress incontinence, urinary tract
infections, and sexual dysfunction
Women’s health issues such as irregular, heavy, or painful menstruation,
Premenstrual syndrome, and menopausal symptoms

Circulatory Disorders, such as hypertension, angina pectoris,
